General Information

At Wildlife Control Maine, we pride ourselves on handling animals with extreme care. While it’s never fun to realize wildlife is cohabitating with you, it’s also extremely alarming for the creature. We take caution throughout the removal process, by following safety protocols, state laws (pertaining to animal control, as well as protected species), as well as being fully insured were an accident to happen.

Since every species operates differently, we begin each remediation with a full inspection. There is an inspection fee, ranging between $100-$300, depending on the time it takes to get to your location. That fee however, can be discounted later from the full service, if you decide to move forward with our quote. During the inspection process, we will survey the evidence you have found, as well as examining the exterior of the home and interior of your attic and/or basement if easily accessible.

Species Information

We are fortunate to have such an incredibly diverse ecosystem here in the state of Maine. Our state does a wonderful job with protecting endangered species, and puts many considerations into the legality of which species can be hunted, trapped and relocated. We respect and follow each of them. To learn more about this, check out the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife website.

At Wildlife Control Maine, we only work with wild nuisance animals, which cause a disturbance or threaten public health and/or safety—including squirrels, chipmunks, skunks, groundhogs, raccoons, opossums and our speciality, bats. Each of these creatures follow different patterns, prefer different living environments, and vary greatly in how they can be relocated.

Just for fun, we’ve included a tidbit of information into each of the animals we work with, below. If you have additional questions, please reach out to us by phone (207) 403-4407, by email WildlifeControlME@gmail.com or through the contact-us form.
